In this way, the project will contribute to achieving the objectives of the procedure.
Through the implementation of the planned activities, the project will contribute to achieving the following result indicators:
– Export volume of goods and services realized by SMEs;
– SME productivity;
and the following performance indicators:
– Number of enterprises receiving support;
– Number of enterprises receiving grants;
– Private investments complementing public support for enterprises (grants).

- SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT
Sustainable development combines two main aspirations of society: achieving economic development that ensures a rising standard of living; and protecting and improving the environment for the future.
2.1. Project contribution to the protection and improvement of the environment and to mitigating the effects of climate change:
2.1.1 Activity 1: introduction and certification of an Environmental Management System (EMS)
ISO 14001 sets out the requirements for an environmental management system to help organizations achieve both their economic and environmental goals. A key focus of the standard is the identification and assessment of environmental aspects, whereby Convoy-World will reduce the negative impacts of its activities related to the environment and climate.
2.1.2 Activity 2: ERP implementation:
For the first time, the ERP system will provide software support and control over the waste and environmental management process through a waste management module, which will implement mechanisms to minimize the impact of activities on the climate and improve environmental protection results.
Increased wireless communication and information exchange, provision of remote access to information, as well as electronic data storage, will lead to a reduction in the use of natural resources: paper (wood), inks.
2.2. Contribution to increasing resource efficiency.
A key aspect of sustainable development is resource efficiency—using the planet’s limited resources in a sustainable way while minimizing environmental impact and enabling economic growth by relatively decoupling it from material use.
2.2.1 The implementation of a new generation ERP system is directly linked to the application of the sustainable development concept.
The ERP system integrates all types of enterprise activities; the resource planning process is cross-functional, with individual business processes being closely interconnected. The ERP system creates conditions for capturing these interrelationships in the planning process and for defining the direction and method of managing and controlling resource efficiency in accordance with the requirement for sustainable development. In this sense, ERP is not just a means of solving current problems, but a foundation for long-term and sustainable business development. In the context of the sustainable development concept, this means that the enterprise, as an economic unit, creates conditions through its activities to increase the well-being of its customers (satisfying their needs), as well as to meet the expectations of its business stakeholders, without depriving future generations of the opportunity to meet their own needs and interests.
By providing information for determining and reporting the economic, environmental, and social impacts of Convoy-World’s activities, the Resource Management System contributes to the application of the sustainable development concept.
2.2.2. Prerequisites for increasing resource efficiency with an implemented Environmental Management System:
- Established mechanisms for efficient control of resource consumption, which also leads to cost reduction;
The total value of the project is BGN 369,550.00, of which BGN 219,882.25 is European and BGN 38,802.75 is national co-financing.
